Instructional Design Internship

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences seeks a responsible and reliable student for an Instructional Design internship to help develop technology-based instructional tools for innovative learning experiences in all teaching modes, including face-to-face, hybrid and distance learning. The intern will join the Instructional Design team and be mentored by the Director of Instructional Design Services.

Responsibilities:
• Develop dynamic, creative learning solutions utilizing appropriate media that meet the identified instructional needs
• Assist with researching solutions for innovative project support and implementation
• Document solutions to frequently asked questions for print and online publications
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and experience can be any combination of:
• Web design and development, web 2.0, social media
• Learning Management Systems support
• Graphic design, animation, video production
• Instructional design
• Distance and online learning

Qualifications:
• Reliable and responsible
• Ability to adapt and learn new software programs quickly
• Ability to proactively work on tasks and projects
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills
• Available for 10-30 hours each week
